Fay Kanin was an American screenwriter and producer. She married screenwriter Michael Kanin in 1940. Michael Kanin earned an Academy Award for cowriting WOMAN OF THE YEAR (1942). The Kanins received an Academy Award nomination in the writing category for TEACHER'S PET (1958).
