Raymond Fielding was a producer, author, and educator active from 1953 until his death in 2018. He was a founding member of the National Association of Broadcast Employees and Technicians, the head of Ray Fielding Productions, the Dean of the Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts, and a renowned scholar of American newsreels and early visual effects.
