Mark Wahlberg is an American actor, producer, and rapper active since 1984. He is best known for his performances in such films as THE BASKETBALL DIARIES, BOOGIE NIGHTS, THREE KINGS, and TED, among many others. He has been twice nominated for an Academy Award, for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for THE DEPARTED and as a producer for Best Motion Picture of the year, shared with David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman, for THE FIGHTER.
