Biography
Jim Gibbons has worked as a producer and marketing executive in the film advertising business since 1969. He first worked at Kaleidoscope Films in New York City and then at Utopia Films. Gibbons founded Flamingo Films when Utopia closed in 1978 where he oversaw advertising campaigns for major studio releases and independent clients until the company dissolved in 1992. Gibbons then became Executive VP of Creative Advertising for Paramount Pictures and currently works as an industry consultant.
