- BiographyDonald Ogden Stewart was an American writer active from 1920 to the 1950s. He began his career as a parodist and playwright and was a member of the Algonquin Round Table. His film work includes the screenplays for HOLIDAY and LOVE AFFAIR. He won an Academy Award for Best Screenplay for THE PHILIDELPHIA STORY, which he adapted from Philip Barry's play.
