Arthur Max is a production designer whose film career dates from 1984. Max’s work as a commercial production designer brought him to the attention of film directors Ridley Scott and David Fincher. Since that time, he has worked with Scott on six films, including GLADIATOR (2000), BLACK HAWK DOWN (2001) and PROMETHEUS (2012). Max has been nominated for Academy Awards in the art direction category for GLADIATOR and AMERICAN GANGSTER (2007).
