Biography
Jessica Lange is an American actress active since 1976. She has been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role four times, for FRANCES, COUNTRY, SWEET DREAMS, and MUSIC BOX. She has received an Academy Award twice, for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for TOOTSIE, and for Best Actress in a Leading Role for BLUE SKY. She is also known for ALL THAT JAZZ, THE POSTMAN ALWAYS RINGS TWICE (1981), CRIMES OF THE HEART, and CAPE FEAR (1991), as well as for her work in stage and television.
