Carlos Borcosque was a Chilean-born writer and director active from 1922 until his death in 1965. In 1922 he established the Estudios Cinematográficos Borcosque in Chile and directed several silent films, including VIDA Y MILAGROS DE DON FAUSTO. From 1927 to 1938 he worked in Hollywood as a journalist for Chilean and Argentinian periodicals and was also an assistant director and dialogue director to many Spanish-language productions at MGM.
