- BiographyAlbert Brenner is a production designer and art director. He studied art at The New York School of Industrial Arts. Following graduation he created window displays for New York department stores, served in the Air Force during World War II, and attended the Yale Drama School as a scenic design major. He then taught scenic design, costume design, and technical theater at the University of Kansas City in Missouri. He returned to New York to work in scenic design, which segued into live television, and then motion pictures. He was active in film from the 1960s to 1990s, and his credits include BEACHES, THE GOODBYE GIRL, THE SUNSHINE BOYS, THE TURNING POINT, and 2010. He has five Academy Award nominations for art direction.
