The production files contain scripts, agreements, correspondence files, legal files, and publicity materials. - BiographyBud Yorkin (1926-2015), was born Alan David Yorkin in Washington, Pennsylvania. Yorkin began his career as a studio engineer at NBC in 1949 after graduating from Carnegie Tech (now Carnegie Mellon University) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was a producer, director, and writer of American film and television. Yorkin began his directorial career with THE COLGATE COMEDY HOUR (1952-1953) and went on to direct THE GEORGE GOBEL SHOW (1954-1956). In 1959, Yorkin formed a partnership with producer Norman Lear and created Tandem Productions. Yorkin also began to direct films such as COME BLOW YOUR HORN (1963) and INSPECTOR CLOUSEAU (1968). He produced and directed several films including START THE REVOLUTION WITHOUT ME (1970), TWICE IN A LIFETIME (1985), and LOVE HURTS (1990).
