The collection contains correspondence, manuscripts by Charles and Lillian Wagenheim for films and plays, as well as scripts, clippings, correspondence, and notes related to Wagenheim's stage career. There is correspondence with Paul Muni as well as Wagenheim's handwritten and typed reminiscences of his friendship with the actor.
- BiographyCharles Wagenheim was an American charactor actor most active in film during the 1940s and 1950s. Prior to film he appeared on stage and in the 1950s he began a lengthy career in television that lasted through the 1970s. His wife, Dr. Lillian Engel Wagenheim, was a clinical psychologist.
