- BiographyRobert M. W. Vogel was an American publicist. After passing the bar exam he dabbled in journalism. His lengthy career at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer from the 1940s to 1960s included heading the studio's international publicity department as well as dealings with the Production Code Administration. Vogel served on, and often chaired, the Academy's foreign language film award committee from the 1940s through the 1980s.
