- Summary
The collection contains more than 150 volumes compiled by Ritchie in notebooks with lined paper, ranging in size from 4-inch by 6-inch volumes to 7½-inch by 12-inch volumes. Each volume consists of unsourced non-textual clippings from fan magazines depicting actors in costume and hairstyles. There is a smattering of additional material and some photographs.
- BiographyCathryn E. Ritchie, known in her early years as Kathryn Estelle Ritchie, was a sketch artist and motion picture stenographer. She may have been an assistant to Edith Head at one time.
