The Bruno Bozzetto animation cels collection includes animation cels, drawings, and storyboards for several of Bozzetto's films, most notably "Allegro non Troppo" (1976) and "Grasshoppers" (1990). There are also single cels for "Mosquito" (1980), "Vip My Brother Superman" (1968), and "West and Soda" (1965). - BiographyBruno Bozzetto (b. 1938) was born in Milan, Italy, and began making amateur films in 1954, mostly nature documentaries. His first success was TAPUM! LA STORIA DELLE ARMI (1958), which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Since then he has formed his own animation studio in Milan and has made such films as WEST AND SODA (1965), EGO (1969), ALLERGO NON TROPPO (1976), and GRASSHOPPERS (1990). GRASSHOPPERS was nominated for an Academy Award for animated short.
