The collection contains primarily photographs from the period when child actor Jackie Condon was in the "Our Gang" shorts in the 1920s. There are scene stills, posed publicity shots, off-camera shots (depicting directors and cameramen), and snapshots, some of which are informal pictures taken on the sets or locations. There are hundreds of photographs dating primarily from the period when the Our Gang shorts were released through Pathe (1922-1927), preceding Roach's distribution deal with MGM. Paper material includes Hal Roach/Pathe promotional material regrading the Gang; some folding-postcard portraits of Jackie that were sent to fans, and a sampling of fan mail.
