- Summary
The collection documents the work of Jeanne Carpenter, also known as Theo-Alice Carpenter, as a child actor in motion pictures in the early 1920s. Her appearances in a number of Mary Pickford films include her impersonating the adult Pickford as a child. There is a smattering of clippings, correspondence, fan mail, fliers, membership cards, programs, and work permits, along with a scrapbook. A small amount of material on her older brother, Charles B. Carpenter Jr., and younger brother, Frederick Ruggles Carpenter, round out the collection.
