- BiographyMichael Kaplan was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After attending the Philadelphia College of Art, Kaplan moved to Los Angeles and eventually found work on THE SONNY AND CHER SHOW (1976-1977). His credits include BLADE RUNNER (1982), FLASHDANCE (1983), FIGHT CLUB (1999), MR. AND MRS. SMITH (2005) and STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS (2015) and STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI (2017).
