- BiographyAnna Thomas is a writer and producer active since 1976. She co-wrote the screenplays for FRIDA, MY FAMILY, and EL NORTE, the latter two written with her former husband, Gregory Nava. Thomas and Nava were nominated for an Academy Award for Best Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen for EL NORTE.
