- BiographyRoy Rowland was an American director active from the 1930s to 1970. He began his career directing shorts for MGM, including over a dozen in the series of short films starring Robert Benchley. His wide-ranging feature-length film credits include OUR VINES HAVE TENDER GRAPES, THE 5,000 FINGERS OF DR. T, MEET ME IN LAS VEGAS, and THE GIRL HUNTERS.
