- BiographyRichard Kahn is a longtime public-relations executive. He rose to prominence within the Columbia Pictures publicity department during the 1950s and 1960s and then gained tenure, during the 1970s, as an executive at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. He served as President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, 1988-1989.
