- BiographyEllen Mirojnick is an American costume designer. Born in New York City, she studied at Parsons School of Design. Her career began in 1977 with the film FRENCH QUARTER. She went on to work on films as diverse as FAME (1980), BASIC INSTINCT (1992), THE FLAMINGO KID (1984), UNFAITHFUL (2002), and CLOVERFIELD (2008). She is known for her close collaboration with actor Michael Douglas in the films FATAL ATTRACTION (1987), WALL STREET (1987), and BLACK RAIN (1989), among others. In 2004, her work was included in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences exhibition "50 Designers 50 Films."
