IN MARY'S SHADOW: THE STORY OF JACK PICKFORD is a one-hour documentary on Mary Pickford's talented and troublesome brother, executive produced by Michael Yakaitis, owner of the Library of Moving Images in Hollywood, California. Featuring the recollections of Douglas Fairbanks Jr., the 2001 release was accompanied by a rescored and tinted release of the 1917 version of TOM SAWYER, starring Jack Pickford and directed by William Desmond Taylor. - BiographyMichael Yakaitis is a film collector/historian, owner of the Library of Moving Images, home of rare and classic film clips from the 1870s to the present. The company is located in the historic Crossroads of the World complex on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood. His company has supplied clips for a number of documentaries about Hollywood, as well as bonus materials for special edition DVDs.
