- BiographyMark Bridges is an American costume designer. Born in Niagara Falls, New York, he received a B.A. in Theater Arts from the State University of New York at Stonybrook in 1983 and an M.F.A. in Design from New York University in 1987. Recipient of an Academy Award in Costume Design for "The Artist" (2011), he has also worked on several films with director Paul Thomas Anderson, including "Boogie Nights" (1997), "Magnolia" (1999) and "There Will Be Blood" (2007). Other titles include "The Fighter" (2010), "Captain Phillips" (2013) and "Inherent Vice" (2014).
