The collection contains material related to an unpublished book on publicity, to be entitled "$ucce$$," that Myers was compiling and editing in the mid-1960s. The bullk of the collection is comprised of manuscripts of individual chapters and some related correspondence. The book was to contain techniques from two dozen experts on the use of modern public relations methods for successful outcomes. Contributors include Myers colleagues in Hollywood and New York, notably Jerry Hoffman, J. L. Kaufman, Robert King, Paul Lyday, and Charles A. Moses. The chapters are arranged alphabetically by contributor's last name.
- BiographyJulian Frederick Myers (1918-2013) was an American publicist and press agent. He formed the agency Julian Myers and Associates and was president of his public relations company, Julian F. Myers, Inc.
