The collection contains audio recordings which consist of more than 5,000 cassette tapes of press conferences hosted by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for its membership. The member journalists use material from the conferences to write about films in current release. Typically, one of the film's stars and/or the director participate in the question and answer sessions.
