The Duncan Henderson production strip boards for THE PERFECT STORM are undated. There are four volumes holding strips of paper, each containing information about a scene for the script dated January 26, 1999. The information includes the scene, location, and cast member number (volume one includes a table of cast members). Each thinly-sliced piece of paper is mounted inside a plastic strip and was placed in shooting order in a black binder. The volumes were prepared by R. J. Mino.
THE PERFECT STORM is an American feature film directed by Wolfgang Petersen and released by Warner Bros. in 2000. Duncan Henderson was the co-executive producer and co-unit production manager for the film. - BiographyDuncan Henderson is an American producer and director. A graduate of the Directors Guild of America training program, Henderson began his career in 1980 as an assistant director on "American Gigolo." He went on to be the assistant director for more than twenty films, including "Rocky IV," "Racing With the Moon," "My Favorite Year," "Staying Alive," "True Confessions," and "Heaven's Gate."
Henderson ultimately executive produced a number of films, including "Deep Blue Sea," "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York," and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." He has also collaborated frequently with director Peter Weir, beginning in 1989 when he co-produced "Dead Poets Society." He later co-produced "Green Card" for Weir and produced "Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World," for which he shared Academy Award nominations for Best Picture in 2003.
From 1995 until 1997, Henderson was the executive vice president of feature film production at 20th Century Fox, where he oversaw the filming of
"Alien: Resurrection," "Independence Day," and "Titanic," among many others. - Subjects
