- Summary
This collection was assembled by Stacey Behlmer and Robert Cushman in connection with their 1992 book, "Hollywood at Your Feet: The Story of the World-Famous Chinese Theatre." The collection consists of photographic prints, negatives, and digital images documenting the history of the theater, including the handprints and footprints of Hollywood celebrities in the forecourt. The Chinese Theatre was founded by film exhibitor Sid Grauman and located on Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood, California. The theater opened in May 1927.
