- BiographyBeverly Roberts was an American film and stage actress, who was under contract to Warner Bros. from 1936 to 1940, after which she pursued a career as a singer and stage actress. She also performed in numerous radio and television programs in the 1940s and 1950s. She was administrator of the Theater Authority, which exercised jurisdiction over the appearance of performers at charity events and telethons, from 1954 until her retirement in 1977.
