Graphic Arts
The Graphic Arts series of the Stephen Chin collection on kung fu film spans 1951-2000 (bulk 1970-1980). The posters include a variety of international releases from the United States to Hong Kong to Turkey and feature Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Sonny Chiba, Sammo Hung, Chuck Norris, Angela Mao, and Sue Shiomi and others. Titles include THE GREEN HORNET, THE AMAZING CHAN AND THE CHAN CLAN, TOUCH OF ZEN, THE SACRED KNIVES OF VENGEANCE, FISTS OF FURY, GAME OF DEATH, SISTER STREET FIGHTER, and DEADLY CHINA DOLL. - BiographyStephen Chin is a Canadian-born producer and screenwriter active in film since the 1990s. He began his career as a corporate and securities law attorney before joining the film industry as vice president and chief operating officer of Woods Entertainment. Chin went on to produce and co-write ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE (1998) and produced PLAY IT TO THE BONE (1999). As a teenager he set about collecting kung fu ephemera, eventually amassing a collection of posters from countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, China, Japan, Italy, Spain, and Thailand.
