- BiographyAl Adamson (1929-1995) was a director, producer, and screenwriter active in film from 1965 to 1983. He worked primarily as a director-producer of exploitation films, usually within the horror genre. With the release of his fourth directorial effort, SATAN’S SADISTS (1969), Adamson launched Independent-International Pictures (IIP) with producer Sam Sherman.
