There are letters from more than 25 correspondents, including Dore Schary. Also included is a contract with Technicolor Motion Picture Corporation, an invitation to the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain, and a Christmas card from H. A. Gossin, which includes autographs from members of the MGM camera department.
- BiographyWilliam V. Skall was an American cinematographer, a 52-year veteran of the film industry, and at one time served as the president of the American Society of Cinematographers. His career included jobs at MGM, RKO, Columbia, Universal, Warner Bros., Twentieth-Century Fox, and he was one of the first Technicolor cameramen. Skall was nominated for nine Academy Awards and won in the cinematography category for JOAN OF ARC (1948).
