- BiographyJerome Kern (1885-1945) was an American songwriter, most active in Hollywood during the 1930s and 1940s. He received Academy Awards for two songs, "The Way You Look Tonight" from SWING TIME(1936) and "The Last Time I Saw Paris" from LADY BE GOOD (1941).
