The Bob Epstein collection of letters is from 1939-1940. There are two unrelated letters. The first is a letter from Arthur Hornblow Jr. to Dave Epstein regarding Walter Winchell's column on Hornblow's alleged "bustup" with Myrna Loy. The second letter is from Wallace Fitzsimmons, secretary to Pat O'Brien, to Hugh Gaffney, with a copy of the requested eulogy that Fitzsimmons ghost wrote for Pat O'Brien's father, William J. O'Brien.
- BiographyBob Epstein was an American film archivist active in the Los Angeles film community during the 1970s and early 1980s. He co-founded the UCLA Film Archive and was active in establishing Filmex.
