The collection consists entirely of production files for BLAZING SADDLES, including Wooley’s annotated script, set plots, schedules, cast and crew lists, and original storyboard drawings. The Graphic Arts series spans 1974 to 2006 and consists of artworks, including a production design drawing for Blazing Saddles (1974) and architectural plans for Sunset Gower studios. - BiographyPeter Wooley (1934-) was born in East Liverpool, Ohio and graduated from Kent State University. Wooley worked as an architect before being hired by Warner Bros. as a set decorator. He worked in television on THAT GIRL (1966-1971) and MY WORLD AND WELCOME TO IT (1969-1970). His first feature credit as art director was for GOING HOME (1971), and he subsequently worked on such films as SOUNDER (1972), BLAZING SADDLES (1974), and HIGH ANXIETY (1978). He designed many television movies, receiving an Emmy® nomination for THE DAY AFTER (1983).
