- BiographyHerbert Luft was an entertainment editor, who after arriving in Hollywood in 1944, worked various jobs at Samuel Goldwyn studios, was a production manager for Sam Fuller, and co-scripted several films. He was a producer for Getty Picture Corporation, as well as a veteran journalist, a two-time President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, and was a member of the Academy, serving on the foreign-language film selection committee.
