GONE WITH THE WIND (1939) is a US feature film adapted from Margaret Mitchell’s 1936 novel of the same name and directed by Victor Fleming. The film was produced by Selznick International Pictures and released by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. It was the best picture of 1939 and received seven other Academy Awards from its thirteen nominations, along with a Special Award and a Scientific or Technical Award.
