The architectural plans for The Players restaurant are unattributed pencil drawings on onion skin paper of wall decor for the restaurant. The Players restaurant, owned by Preston Sturges from 1940 to 1953, was located at 8225 Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles. The three-story building included a drive-in, and casual and fine dining. A dinner theater was added in 1951; however, the entire property was auctioned in 1953 to raise cash for Sturges's ongoing financial problems.
